House. Probably early to mid-C18, altered and extended in early C20.
Brick, hipped swept slate roofs with end stacks. Square plan of five
by four bays, with one-bay pavilions advanced at each corner of north-
west-facing entrance front: two storeys, moulded wooden eaves cornice,
glazing bar sashes, steps rise from either side to mid-C20 balustrading
in front of C20 central sandstone porch with ogee-head and one-panel
early C20 door. Pavilions have 4-light mullioned windows. Garden front:
3-light and cross-casements, verandah, probably early C20, to south side.
A substantial C18 house given an interesting outline and plan by its
angle pavilions.
