House.Mid- to late C18.Red brick with hipped gambrel slate roof and end chimneys.Two storeys on rubble cellar,attics to rear;dentilled eaves cornice;three windows,-four-pane C19 sashes under brick flat arches.Central doorcase with plain pilasters and moulded cornice broken forward over pilasters;half-glazed door;above is a Sun Fire insurance mark(number 664965).Coursed and squared rubble terrace before house approached by double flight of steps axial with doorway and with segment-headed opening to right;good quality cast iron anthemion and Catherine-wheel pattern panels between fleur-de-lis capped standards with narrow trefoil-headed panels.Link to right hand to barn(qv).
