House. C17 in ruinous condition. Timber-framed with weatherboard cladding,
corrugated metal roof. Half H-plan with central entrance, large axial stack
and lateral stacks. Two storeys with cellar and attics. South west front:
three gables with two 6-pane windows to each and central 6-panelled door.
Main axial stack with six attached diagonal shafts. Formerly with various
C17 plaster ceilings moved during early years of C20 to The Lodge,
next door. (Not included in this list). Interior inaccessible at time of
resuevey (January 1986). (RCHM, Vol II, p 43, item 3).
