Chapel. C12, altered and enlarged C14, with further C16 or C17 alterations.
Chancel rebuilt 1827. Sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, slate roof.
Nave and chancel. Nave: raised west verge, C19 single trefoil-headed light
to left and pair of similar lights to right of south doorway with chamfered
pointed-arched head, plain imposts and chamfered jambs probably C18. Single
lancet to chancel. Interior retains C14 roof with swept braces to collar.
Fittings: C12 font, tub-shaped with scalloped top and sloped base; sections
of screen against west end of nave. C15 two-centred arched heads with
decorative quatrefoils in roundels to spandrels. (RCHM Vol II, p 35; BoE,
p 131).
