Upper Penalt

Barn. C18, altered C20. Sandstone rubble with later brick south gable end,
slate roof. Five bays with central projecting gabled porch to west side
flanked by two rows of vents, now partially blocked and obscured by minor
later additions. Inclined strut trusses. The barn is prominently situated
beside the road facing the stables (qv) and close to the barn to south-west
of Lower Penalt (qv). Upper Penalt is not included in this list.
