2/92 Church of All Saints
Parish church. 1841 by William Roberts of Chepstow, chancel lengthened
1901-3. Sandstone rubble, ashlar dressings, slate roof. Nave, transepts
and chancel with polygonal apse. Nave: two lancets with hoodmoulds; south
transept, 2-light traceried window; single lancet to north transept. Chancel:
single lancet to original short chancel, further traceried lights to polygonal
apsidal-ended east end. Interior: painted wooden coved ceilings 1901-3; stone
rib vaulting to chancel addition. Fittings: section of C15 screen with
traceried spandrels removed from Chapel at Chapel Farmhouse (qv).
