Country house, now hotel. C17 with C18 additions, minor C20 alterations.
Timber-framed west wing with painted brick infill, remainder of brick. C20
tiled roof, hipped to centre. Main house two rooms deep with flanking wings,
main central entrance and end stacks. North front: three-storey central
block with string course and wide overhanging eaves; three glazing bar sash
windows, central C20 porch with double inner doorway, wing to left with
string course and three 2-light casement windows, timber-framed wing to
right with three glazing bar sash windows. Framing to west wing fairly
complete though irregular, four and five square panels from sill to wall-
plate. Interior retains fine dog-legged staircase with turned balusters.
