Mill and mill house, now house. Possibly C17 with mid-C19 and later additions
and C20 alterations. Timber-framed with sandstone plinth, rendered infill,
later brick additions, tiled and part half-hipped with concrete tiled roofs.
Two-bay former mill aligned north-east/south-west with three-bay house on
similar alignment with slightly lower roofline, later additions to south-
west and to north-west. South-east front, single storey and attic, C20
continuous flat roofed dormer with three 2-light glazing bar casements and
two similar windows below to former mill section to right, central gabled
dormer with pair of 2-light C20 windows, two C20 windows to right of C20
door and further similar door and windows to right to central house section
with C19 adjoining brick addition to left. Later additions not of special
architectural interest. Formerly known as Nupend Mill.
