II
House. Dated 1836, possibly earlier. Sandstone rubble, brick shafts,
stone slates to roof. Single-depth in plan with central entrance and
end stacks and later lean-to addition to rear. Two storeys; three windows,
flat arches with pronounced voussoirs, outer 3-light glazing bar casement
windows flank central similar 2-light window; open canopied porch with
trellis supports, half-glazed door. Partly disfigured datestone situated
toward centre of main front below eaves.
