Farmhouse. C17 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Timber-
framed with sandstone plinth, part painted brick and part wattle-and-daub
infill, brick later additions, tiled roof. Former L-plan house facing
south with later additions extending to east, entrance now in later additions,
west gable end stack and east lateral stack to earlier house, further stack to
rear of east addition. South front, single storey and attic to left wing,
remainder two storeys with single-storey outshut to side of cross-wing with
gable end to south; 2-light casement window in gabled dormer to left, 3-
light casement window to ground floor, similar window in gable end of cross-
wing, 2-light casement window in half-dormer to right, later extension and
similar window with segmental head to ground floor, entrance through outshut,
ledged door. Framing of C17 house complete in-parts though refaced and partly
underbuilt with brick, formerly three and four square panels from sill to
wall-plate with two struts to collar in south gable. Interior not inspected.
