GV II
Inn. C17 with C18 and C20 additions and alterations. Timber-framed
with painted brick infill to rear, roughcast to main front, sandstone
plinth, slate roof. Irregular L-plan with added wing to rear, two entrances
to south front and further entrance to west, lateral stack to east and west
gable end stack, further lateral stack now blocked to north. Two storeys
and cellar. South front with south side of wing to left and west side of
second wing to right, two 2-light casement windows to left flanking entrance
with ledged door, further door central to right; one 2-light window and
similar 3-light window to south gable end with cellar entry below. Framing
revealed to rear and to west, three and four square panels from sill to
wall-plate with V-struts in gable.
