House. C17, extensively refaced during C18. Timber-framed core refaced
with sandstone rubble, some square panels revealed to rear retaining
wattle-and-daub infill, sandstone plinth, corrugated metal roof. Former
timber-framed house of two framed bays aligned north/south with added
sandstone addition to south, further three framed bays at north end
extend to west forming L-plan, lateral stack to west, entrance in angle
of L. Single storey and attic, one dormer with 2-light casement window
to right of stack, one 4-pane casement and one C20 window flank stack to
ground floor, to right of half-glazed door, wing extending to west with
part weatherboard cladding with~three doorways. Interior reveals framing,
including collar and tie-beam trusses with inclined struts to wing.
Irregular three and four square panels from sill to wall-plate.
