West of Stoke Edith Park)

Lodge, gate piers and flanking wall. c1792 by William Wilkins. Red brick,
with ashlar dressings and domed roof. Octagonal with projection in main
direction facing west. C20 additions to rear. Two storeys, string course
and moulded cornice with blocking course, dome surmounted by circular shaft
to stack; glazing bar sash windows above Tuscan portico in antis to main
projection with blind window retaining trompe d'oeil lace curtains and
geraniums on window sill. Gate piers to west with moulded ashlar bases
and capping. (BoE Pg 293)
