GV II
House. C17, altered mid-C19 and C20. Timber-framed with painted brick
infill largely refaced with brick, sandstone plinth, tiled roof. L-plan
facing south with cross-wing at east end, north gable end stack to cross-
wing with two circular shafts and further stack to west gable end of
main range with further single-storey later extension to west. Entrance
central to main range. Two storeys and basement below cross-wing; 2-light
casement windows flank ledged door, two similar windows to right hand
return of cross-wing with lower ledged door giving access to basement.
Framing incomplete, three and four square panels from sill to wall-plate
with V-struts in gable.
