SO 43 NW KINGSTONE CP -

4/29 Arkstone Court

Farmhouse. Probably late C18 with earlier origins. Sandstone plinth,
brick with hipped tile roofs. Roughly rectangular plan with main front
facing south. Cellar with three storeys and attics. 1:1:1 windows, glazing
bar sashes, two canted projecting wings with blind window areas to left wing,
tripartite central first floor sash with thermal window to top floor, central
entrance with fanlight and 4-panelled door, dentilled brick eaves cornice.
Attached to right is two-storey dairy and kitchen wing with 3-light casements
under shallow segmental heads, entry to left-hand side. Interior has principal
northern ground floor room with heavy ceiling beams (BoE, p 200).
