6/84 Wellhead Cottage

Cottage. Probably C18, extended in late C19 and late C20. Sandstone
rubble, timber-frame with plaster infill, Welsh slate roof, external
stone end stack with brick shaft and apsidal stone external bread oven
with sandstone slate roof. Rectangular plan aligned roughly east/west;
two structural bays extended by one bay to east. One storey and attic.
North elevation has two ground floor 2-light C20 casements, one to each
side and gabled 3-light contemporary dormer to left of centre, entry from
south side. Frame is three panels from cill to wall-plate. Added east
end has mock timber-framing.
