6/90 Conservatory and garden
walls about 100 yards
south-east of Whitfield

Conservatory: late C18 origins, probably remodelled in mid-C19. Brick,
sandstone and glass roof. South elevation has terrastyle portico of
Tuscan columns in stucco flanked by wings with 6-light swivelling windows.
North elevation has mid-C19 brick terrastyle portico with stone captials
and bases. Walls are C18 and C19 brick about ten feet high with quadrant
curves to east and west of portico. C18 walls appear to have been heightened
in parts during mid- to late C19.
