about 45 yards north-west
of New House Farmhouse

GV II

Granary and wainhouse. "TM 1811" on plaque in south-west gable. Roughly
coursed sandstone rubble and weatherboards with corrugated iron roof. Three
bays aligned roughly north-east/south-west. Two levels. South-east elevation
has stone steps rising to ledged door to right of centre of first floor. North-
east gable is weatherboarded with open ground floor for carts. South-west gable
has central segmentally-headed opening flanked by three rows of nesting ledges
and holes for pigeons. Interior has pegged king-post roof with fattened tops
and bottoms to king-posts and unpegged raking struts from cambered ties to
principals. Included as a dated example. New House Farmhouse is not included
in this list.
