2/51 One of a pair of gate piers
about 30 yards west of Jockey

GV II

Gate pier. Early C19. Cast iron. Square section with two recessed panels
to each face rising to frieze and moulded cornice with moulded capping and
tall bird-finial. Forms group with gate pier opposite (qv) and nearby gates,
gate piers and railings to north lodge to Lyston House (qv). Jockey is not
included in this list.
