2/61 Lyston House

House. Early C19 with substantial early C20 enlargements and alterations.
Sandstone and brick with rendered finish, hipped Welsh slate roofs and brick
stacks. Roughly square plan. Cellar and two storeys. South elevation has
1:3:1 windows, advanced pedimented three-bay part and wooden dentils to
eaves and pediment; outer ground floor windows are tripartite sashes, first
floor sashes have round heads; oculus in pediment. Interior has early C19
rear stair and stairwell light but was otherwise remodelled partly in late
C19 and extensively in mid-C20.
