north-west of
Upper Monkton Farmhouse

GV II

Garden wall. Possibly late C18 or early C19. Sandstone rubble with flat
sandstone coping. Ramped up about 20 yards from north-west of house to a
height of about 10 feet then returning for about 30 yards towards south-
west before another curved return towards south-east; two entries, one at
north end of main north-east/south-west stretch, the other in the final
short return towards the south-east.
