Lodge, now house. Probably early to mid-C19 with mid-C20 alterations.
Sandstone ashlar, artificial stone blocks, Welsh slate roof and centre
brick stack. One storey. Central pedimented tetrastyle portico on steps,
corner pilasters and dentilled cornice, 1:2:1 windows, the outer pair
late C19 sashes, the inner top vented mid-C20 steel windows, ledged mid-
C20 central door set in artifical stone blocks. Returns are also
pedimented. Harewood Park was demolished in 1952. (R Strong, M Binney
& J Harris, The Destruction of the Country House 1875-1975, Thames and
Hudson, London 1974).
