east of Netherton
Farmhouse

GV II

Stable. 1761 on tablet. Squared sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings
and corrugated iron roof. Three bays aligned east/west. Two levels. Two
square-headed openings with central doorway to each floor, those to ground
floor with voussoirs to their heads; upper openings to lofts have holes
for diamond oak mullions. Tallet stairs to left hand gable. Interior has
cambered collar trusses. Included for group value as a rare local dated
example of a stable.
