3/78 Pencoyd Court

GV II

House. Possibly C17 with early C18 alterations. Sandstone rubble,
partly finished in stucco, Welsh slate roofs, brick and rendered brick
stacks. Rectangular plan. Two storeys. Garden front to south-east
has four windows, sashes to first floor, the two to the left placed higher
up; ground floor has two canted mid-C19 bay windows, one either side of
glazed contemporary door; deeply projecting eaves. North front has seg-
mentally-headed window openings and doorway with square head and moulded
jambs and lintol. Interior of south-east part noted as having chamfered
ceiling beams; cantilevered staircase with stick balusters to entrance
hall behind garden front.
