40 yards south-east
of Trippenkennett

GV II

Cartshed and hayloft or granary, now outbuilding. "W/179(?)6/ C"
on recessed tablet surrounding owl hole on south-west gable. Thinly
laid sandstone rubble, sandstone dressings, brick; timber-frame and
corrugated iron roof. Two bays aligned south-west/north-east. Two
levels. South-west able has tallet stairs rising to central ledged
door under segmental brick arch, finely cut kneelers to each side and
owl hole below apex. North-east gable has another pair of kneelers, and
two openings, one either side of six rows of three nesting holes and ledges
set in a brick panel. North-west elevation has one row of square plastered
panels in timber-framed band above high cill beam supported on a cylindrical
column. Interior has collar truss with tie-beam interrupted by queen posts
rising from floor beam to principals.
