chancel of the Church
of St Michael and
all Angels
GV II
Pair of chest tombs. South one dated 1779; north one dated 1820. Sandstone
ashlar, moulded bases and flat inscribed cappings with moulded edges. Corner
balusters with foliated decoration. Plain rectangular side panels recessed
behind moulded margins. East panels to east each have garland enclosing
achievement. South tomb inscribed to Moore Green, died 1779; north tomb
inscribed to John Moore Green, died 1820.
