House. Early C18 with mid-C18, late C19 and early C20 additions and
alterations. Brick with hipped Welsh slate roofs and brick stacks.
Rectangular plan aligned north-north-east/south-south-west. Cellar and
three storeys. West elevation has main part of five windows, glazing bar
sashes. Plat bands dividing storeys. Deep eaves brackets and panelled
stacks. Central porch with late C19 panelled door. Gauged brick heads
and burnt headers to each side. Attached to left is a lower three-storey
three-window addition with canted bay window, constructed of wood rising
through two storeys to a balustrade. To the left of the canted bay window
is ground floor tripartite sash. Attached to the rear of this lower addition
is a mid- or late C19 service wing with two storeys. Interior has dentilled
cornice in principal ground floor room of main part and first floor landing
with turned balusters to small gallery. (BoE, p 126).
