Farmhouse. C18, probably with earlier origins and later additions. Sandstone
rubble, brick dressings, sandstone ashlar and squared sandstone. Tiled roof
and brick stacks. Roughly rectangular plan aligned north-south with main
front facing west and stone tower to north end. Two storeys. West elevation
has 1:3 windows. The right part has 3-light casements under segmental brick
arches, brick plat band, dentilled brick eaves cornice and central gabled mid-
C19 porch. Stone tower to left has blocked first floor window and merlons with
moulded cornices. Interior noted as having heavy ceiling beams to ground floor.
