about 90 yards south
of Kiverknoll Farmhouse

Barn and cow house. Probably late C18 to early C19. Sandstone rubble,
timber-frame with weatherboards and corrugated iron roof. Rectangular seven-
bay plan aligned north/south. Two levels to cow house part to north.
East elevation has corrugated iron cladding to upper floor of right part
beneath which are four ledged doors through the sandstone rubble plinth.
to the left is a full-height gabled porch to the threshing floor, the gable
of which is weatherboarded; its double-leaved doors are ledged. To the left
of the porch are two rows of two vent loops. North gable has ground floor
opening with diamond section oak mullions. South gable is rubble with paired
vent slits. Interior has raking struts from ties to principals. Included for
group value.
