9/97 Garden walls to
south of The Mynde
GV II
Garden walls. Probably C18 to early C19. Brick and coursed sandstone
rubble. Walls are about six to eight feet high and extend about 50 yards
from the south end of The Mynde (qv) near its junction with the adjacent
stables (qv) returning towards the nearby cottage (qv). The northern part
of the walls is brick and the return sandstone rubble. Gabled copings.
In the north part is a doorway to the lawn immediately south of The Mynde.
Second doorway on point of return. Included for group value.
