Group of two chest
tombs approximately
2 metres east of chancel
of Church of St Michael


Two tomb chests. C18. Sandstone. Southern tomb has shallow-pitched moulded
top and fluted square baluster ends. Inscriptions include: "John Knight .....
1783". Northern tomb has flat moulded top. End cartouches have rococo scrolls.
North side has swags and worn inscription. Inscriptions include: "George James
..... 1748".
