The description shall be amended as follows:

In line 1 delete "Early C19, or earlier" and insert "1862".

The following sentence shall be added at the end of the description:

"Interior has wide shallow vault, west gallery and original fittings.
(Kelly's Directory 1876)".

Baptist church. Early C19, or earlier. Red sandstone rubble with yellow
sandstone dressings and slate roof: Facade is symmetrical and has four
giant Doric pilasters and a moulded open pediment. Between the outer
pilasters are round-headed windows with glazing bars, sill bands, and impost
bands. Above the doorway is a large window, now boarded over. It has a
round head with keystone, sill band, and an impost band which continues the
frieze of the pediment. The doorway has a round head with keystone and
impost band. The side walls are of four bays and have windows with round
heads and glazing bars.
