GV II

Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17, with C18 alterations, and further C20
alterations and additions. Originally timber-framed with wattle-and-daub
infill, largely refaced with sandstone rubble and with later additions of
the same material; C20 tiled roof. Rectangular plan of three bays with
main axial stack and integral stone winder staircase. C20 stone porch
to entrance front and C20 additions to rear. Single storey and attic;
entrance front has one 2-light dormer window to centre, one 2-light C20
window and C20 bow window to ground floor to left of forward projecting
gabled porch with one 2-light C20 window and C20 glazed door. Interior
reveals moulded and chamfered ceiling beams and main fireplace with
moulded jambs and lintel.
