Marlas Mill

II

Mill, now farmhouse. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Squared sandstone
rubble with dressings of the same material; C20 tiled roof. Rectangular
plan with all openings to north-west side, axial stack toward centre.
three storeys; two string courses. Four windows with the two to the
left containing C19 metal frames. C20 windows to the right. Two loft
openings to first floor flanking left of centre window; ground floor has
five doorways with one to far right now blocked and C20 lean-to porch to
right of centre. ALl openings have flat arched lintels with pronounced
keystones.
