LITTLE DEWCHURCH CP -

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with later alterations. Timber-frame
finished in roughcast. Asbestos slate roof and extruded sandstone end
stack. Two bays aligned north-east/south-west. One storey and attic.
North-west elevation has two gabled early C20 dormers with 2-light casements.
Glazed mid-C20 door to left of centre. Attached to left end is a lower
extension with loft. Interior has exposed chamfered ceiling beams and stone
newel stair next to the fireplace. Photographs seen at time of resurvey
(July 1986) show wall-framing, three square panels high from cill to wall-
plate and a thatched roof (RCHM, Vol I, p 48).
