SP 02 72 ALVECHURCH CP THE SQUARE (north side)

House, now offices. C15 with mid-C19 and some late C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with painted, brick infill, underbuilt in painted brick, with
concrete tile roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west. Two storeys, two
windows: 3-light casements; ground floor: tiled pentice roof, hipped at
each end, over two canted bay windows; entrance to left of centre has a
half-glazed C19 door. Framing: widely spaced studs with curved tension
brace to right; east (right-hand) gable has a collar with studs below and
trenched purlins. Interior: exposed timber-framing, including chamfered
and stopped ceiling beams.
