7/33 Lower Park Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C17 with some late C20 alterations. Timber-frame with
brick infill and tile roof. T-plan, cross-wing of two framed bays aligned
north/south, other range of three framed bays extending to east with central
stack and baffle-entry. Garden front (south): cross-wing to left has two
storeys with gable-lit attic; one window: top hung casement; ground floor:
C20 3-light casement under a C20 pentice roof; main range to right is of
two storeys; three windows: C20 top hung casements; ground floor: central
entrance with lean-to porch flanked by two pentice roofs over 3-light case-
ments. Framing: three square panels high to first floor, ground floor
probably originally close-studded. Interior not inspected but likely to
be of interest.
