17/96 Stable from Wychbold

GV II


Stable. Late C18, restored and re-erected 1981. Timber-frame with brick
infill on a sandstone ashlar plinth with tile roof. Two framed bays.
Entrance to left of centre has a wide stable door, to right of which is a
shuttered window; loft door in right-hand gable. Framing: one rectangular
panel high with curved tension braces. Interior: C19 stable fittings.
Removed from Ridgeway Court Farm, Dodderhill in 1979.
