Lodge and gate pier. Early C19, probably by Thomas Cundy Senior. Stuccoed
brick with hipped slate roof. In plan, two rectangular blocks linked by
smaller block, with porch to south (carriageway) side. Street (west) front:
one storey, moulded cornice and parapet, a window to each block has a glazing
bar sash with pediment above and blind balustrade below, wall between two
blocks and wall to left each have a fixed casement. Entrance to right return
front has two Doric columns and a half-glazed door. Gate pier, square plan,
joined to lodge by a plain overthrow.
