north-east of Cattespool

GV II


Dovecote. Early C18, restored late C20. Brick with gabled tile roof. Square
plan. Two storeys with 2-light casement in each gable, roof capped by glover
with pyramidal roof. Entrance in south wall. Interior: retains nesting boxes
to first floor. (Drawings typescript report by S J Price, 1984, in files
of Department of Local History, Birmingham City Museum).
