15 metres south of
Holytree Farmhouse

GV II


Barn and cart shed. Early C19, incorporating remains of a C17 barn. Brick
with some timber-framing and tile roof. Four bays, threshing floor to east
of centre, granary over cart shed at west end. To south front a gable over
threshing floor entrance; external steps to west gable end. Framing: only
fragments survive. The barn occupies a prominent roadside position facing
Hollytree Farmhouse (qv) and is included for group value.
