House. Early C17; restored mid-C20. Timber-framed with rendered infill and
machine-tiled roof. Three framed bays aligned north/south with large sand-
stone chimney in central bay and brick stack to rear of ridge. Single storey
and attic with dormers. Framing: two panels from sill to wall-plate, short
straight braces in some upper corners, collar and tie-beam truss with struts
survives at north gable end. East front elevation: windows are all C20 case-
ments; there is a 2-light, a 3-light and two single-light windows on the ground
floor; central gabled dormer with 2-light window; central entrance has a C20
door and a lean-to tiled canopy on brackets which extends over the adjacent
2-light window. Attic lights in gable ends. Interior: rear wall-frame, cross-
frames and roof largely intact. Large fireplace and winder staircase in
central bay. Large C20 addition at rear.
