GV II

Lychgate. c1919 by Harold Brakspear. Timber-framed on tall chamfered sandstone
ashlar base; plain tiled roof with overhanging eaves on shaped brackets and
moulded bargeboards. Convex arch-braced tie-team trusses with struts and convex
struts. Four square panels on each side. At the centre of the south truss is
a carved figure of St Kenelm holding a dove and set within a traceried canopy.
