The original church of 1821. Two storeys in red brick with Welsh slate roof
and dentil eaves cornice. Four windows to 1st floor with round heads, glazing
bars, and one window obscured by the later passage to the present church. The
ground floor has 3 segmental-headed windows and a door to the right, door in
stuccoed surround to the left with moulded cornice, pilasters, keystone. Round-headed
entry to double doors.
