4/45 Stable about 10 yards
east of The Mount

Stable, now store. Cl7. Timber-framed and weatherboarded on sandstone
and brick base; plain tiled roof. Framed single-bay plan aligned east/
west. Two levels. Framing: probably large rectangular panels from sill
to wall-plate; long straight braces in lower corners; trusses not visible.
Entrance in south elevation. The stable occupies a prominent roadside
position on the hill below the Mount (qv). Included for group value.
