House. Cl7 with mid-C19 alterations; restored mid-C20. Timber-framed with
rendered infill on brick plinth; plain tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned
east/west; end chimneys with stack at west end of ridge and rear ridge at
east end; C20 framed bay addition at east gable end continues roofline. Two
storeys. Framin : three panels from sill to wall-plate; short straight braces
across upper corners; collar and tie-beam truss with three struts and V-strut
in apex at west gable end. North front elevation: original part has two 2-
light C19 metal casements on both floors; both the ground floor windows have
plank weatherings; central C20 lean-to porch with catslide roof has a 2-light
casement to front and both side elevations and a C20 door with a 4-centred
head in the left side; C20 part has a pair of 2-light casements on the ground
floor and a gabled dormer with 2-light casement. Interior: noted as having
retained its large fireplace at the west end.
