House. C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with
painted brick infill, brick replacement walling and refacing and half-
hipped thatched roof. Two framed bays aligned north/south with central
chimney and brick ridge stack. Single storey and attic with dormer. Framing:
three panels from sill to wall-plate, truncated collar and tie-beam truss with
three struts at north end. West front elevation: ground floor has a 3-light
casement and a square C19 multi-paned metal window; eyebrow dormer with 2-
light C20 casement to right; C20 door to right. Attic lights in gable ends.
Interior: framing of much of north bay intact; moulded main ceiling beams.
Roof not inspected. Back-to-back fireplace with winder staircase to west
side of chimney. C19 lean-to at rear. Also C20 timber lean-to at south
gable end.
