9/112 No 48 (Enstone Cottage)
Out-building, now house. Early C19; restored and converted mid-C20. Brick
with machine-tiled roof. Two storeys with dentilled eaves cornice. Three
trays; third bay is slightly recessed; two ground floor 12-pane C20 sashes in
original openings with cambered heads; three first floor C20 9-pane sashes;
entrance to right has a C20 surround with open pediment on consoles, a 6-
panelled door and traceried fanlight. Interior not inspected. The building
is said to have been a former out building to No 46 (qv) which adjoins to
right. Included for group value.
