Venus Bank

12/20 Nos 7 and 8



Two houses. Late C17 with late C19 alterations. Timber-frame with painted
brick infill and tile roof. One storey with attic lit by gabled dormers;
two windows, entrances to left of centre (no 8) and to right-hand corner
(no 7). Framing: three square panels high, gable-end truss has a collar
and trenched purlins. Unoccupied at time of survey (June 1985), all open-
ings boarded up.
