House and warehouse, now part of a house, shop and bakery. Mid-C18 with
mid-C19 and some mid-C20 alterations. Brick with tile roof, chimney stacks
in ridge. House and shop to left, warehouse to right; house: three storeys:
three windows: 16-pane boxed sashes under segmental heads, central window
blind; second floor: 12-pane fixed casements with original crown glass;
ground floor: entrance to right of centre, shop to left is mid-C19 and
pilastered with blind box, shop entrance to left, with recessed glazed
door, plate glass window to left; another window to right is a 16-pane
sash with plastered wedge lintel, set within a larger segmental headed
opening; house entrance: stone architrave with keystone and a flat wooden
canopy, 6-panel door, upper two glazed. Warehouse: two storeys, dentilled
brick cornice, straight jointed to previous building, with windows cutting
through joint: a 16-pane boxed sash to first floor with segmental head, on
the ground floor a 3-light casement with segmental head; first floor: five
windows: 2-light casements with leaded rectangular quarries under segmental
heads; ground floor: four windows; 2-light casements under segmental heads,
to the left is a cart entrance with a basket arch, to right hand end a mid-
C19 block with a flat headed cart entrance on ground floor and a loft door
above with segmental head. Interior: the house is linked to no 1, of which
it forms a part (qv).
